About Beam®

Beam vacuums were being manufactured by Beam Manufacturing Company since the 1950’s. In 1957, Beam Manufacturing Company was sold and Beam Industries was formed led by R.L. Sampson. With the emergence of Beam Industries, the primary focus was diverted to central vacuum systems. John Coghlan after his career with Beam® Industries for 18 years as the President retired in March 2006. During his time, he ensured that Beam Industries reach the pinnacle of success in the central vacuum industry using advanced technology.

In June 2006, Russell S. Minick took over the Beam Industries as the President and since then the company has created higher standards for central vacuum systems in the US. Their primary goal is to capture 75 percent of new U.S. homes by 2010 and to grow consistently in Canada as well as internationally.

Beam Industries reached a milestone on January 1, 2007 as they became known as Electrolux Central Vacuum Systems. Now Beam industries are marketing central vacuum systems of Beam, Electrolux, and Eureka.

Reasons for buying Beam vacuum products

Beam Industries has come a long way since they first started out in the early 1950’s. Today, they are considered as one of the leading brands of central vacuum cleaners in the world. Some of the reasons why Beam vacuum systems are considered amongst the best in the industry include:

You can choose the power team, unit, and accessories depending on your budget, requirement, and space.

Power Units: Beam power units are considered the best when it comes to cleaning and ingenuity. The power units consist of the patented Quiet Pak™ sound insulation system, which makes it one of the quietest central vacuum power units in the industry.

Self Cleaning: Beam central vacuum systems some with a built-in self-cleaning feature. Basically, the system consists of self-cleaning vacuum filters made from GORE-TEX® fabric and this enable the Beam®® central vacuum systems to clinically remove or reduce allergy symptoms.

Zero replacement: If you are using a Beam central vacuum system then you will never have to worry about cleaning or changing the filters or screens.

Cyclonic Filtration: Beam central vacuum systems uses cyclonic forces for separating large dirt particles as well as allergens from the vacuumed indoor air. The built-in permanent filter in the vacuum system can remove small and invisible particles with a stunning 98% efficiency rate. Most models come with a Paper Bag option.

On-Guard™: Beam central vacuum systems consist of On-Guard™ dirt receptacle, which has been infused with anti-microbial agent known as AlphaSan®. This helps in preventing the growth of bacteria in the bucket itself. As a result, there is no loss of power when the bucket gets filled up. This allows the vacuum system unit to maintain high levels of performance for longer periods of time.

Multiple features: One of the salient points of Beam central vacuum systems is that it has multiple built-in features like cyclonic filtrations, HEPA filters etc. Traditional vacuums are single feature enabled.

HEPA Filter: All Beam central vacuum systems consist of the HEPA filter, which is a great asset. Here are some of the salient points:

·  The HEPA self-cleaning filter in Beam central vacuum systems can clean itself whenever the system is turned off.

·  The HEPA filter achieves an efficiency level of 98% at .3microns and larger. Helps In increasing the life of the motor.

·  It ensures that no bags are required.

·  It comes with a lifetime warranty.

·  It has a built-in on-Guard dirt receptacle that prevents growth of mold.

Complete system: Beam central vacuum systems are complete units that are not only affordable but attractive as well. These systems can be used effectively for residential purposes as well as for the commercial sector. All Beam systems consist of a power unit, hose, power brush, dirt collection receptacle, and other cleaning accessories. You will also receive a detailed installation manual and video for installing it.

Huge Market: Beam central vacuum systems are available not just in the US and Canada but all across the world.
