Features of the Beam Central Vacuum Bags
Fits the Beam Central Vacuum Models:
Adaptable Twist Lock Intake System.
With ATLIS®, the central vacuum intake pipe can be attached to either side of the power unit, making the installation of the central vacuum system in your home simpler and more convenient. The location of the power unit is now more flexible.
The power unit comes factory equipped to have the central vacuum intake pipe attached to the left side of the power unit (left intake).
If your installation requires attachment of the intake pipe to the power unit from the left side, no special instructions are needed.
If your power unit is installed, so that the intake pipe must be attached to the right side of the power unit, the ATLIS® system enables you to have the intake of the power unit moved to the right side (right intake).
ATLIS® is a very simple system, and you can see the instructions on how to switch from one side to the other for the intake on the power unit on the next page.
How To Change Pipe Intake Side On the Power Unit.
The central vacuum power unit is factory equipped with the pipe intake on the left side and the plug/cap installed on the right side. It is simple to move the pipe intake to the right side.
1. On the left side of the power unit, remove the intake by turning it counter-clockwise.
2. On the right side of the power unit, remove the cap/plug by turning it counter-clockwise. A screwdriver can be inserted into the cap brackets to untighten.
3. Moisten both gaskets with water, using a soft cloth. This will make them install easier.
4. On the right side of the power unit, install the intake by turning it clockwise until tight.
5. On the left side of the power unit, install the plug/cap by turning it clockwise until tight.
Please note that if you need the pipe intake to be located on the left side, you can simply disregard the ATLIS® system and just attach the pipe to the power unit as a standard installation.
