The Nutone CI390V is an electric wall inlet. Any homeowner who wants to install this inlet in their home must have a CI395RK (Sold Seperately) rough-in kit at hand in order to be able to do it properly. However, the installation process is very easy so anyone can handle this operation. The compatible hoses are the CH615 and the CH620 models.
The number of Nutone wall inlets is rather impressive, but so are the quality and design of these vacuum accessories whose presence around the house is unobtrusive or rather barely noticeable. The collection includes two different color options: Nutone Inlet CI390V (Ivory), Nutone Inlet CI390W (White). We also offer the non-electric models such as the Nutone Inlet 330w and the Nutone Inlet 330niv, so the homeowner can select whichever model suits their needs and those of their home best.
As mentioned above, the Nutone inlet CI390V is one of the electric wall inlets in the Nutone catalog and therefore a very appealing option for anyone who disposes of an electric hose, which is more convenient than a non-electric one because it does not require the attachment of a 120V extension cord. Similarly to most of the other Nutone inlets, this model is also automatic so it becomes ready for use as soon as the hose is fixed into position. However, it must be a low voltage hose or, more exactly, the Nutone CH615 30ft Electrical Hose or the Nutone CH620 30ft Electrical Hose.
Any homeowner who wants to install this inlet in their home must have a CI395RK rough-in kit at hand in order to be able to do it properly. However, there is nothing complicated about the installation process so anyone can handle this operation. The fact that the standard house wiring is sufficient also helps a great deal. If installed correctly, the Nutone inlet CI390V is fully reliable, as its UL mark can confirm, so it is one of the best choices one can make in terms of electrified inlets.
The ElectraValve® Electrified inlet includes a built-in low-voltage terminal so direct-connect hoses plug right in – alleviating the need for a power cord. The molded power receptacle clips to a mounting plate and housing wire is run to the nearest outlet box.
Do not forget to maintain and keep your inlets & hoses clean! Order your maintenance cloths and deodorizer to the right.
Cheaper hose socks found on the market use a lower quality material and are rough, easily torn and don't provide a tight fit around the hose. They generally don't stand up to the average household abuse for more than 6 months. Pay for quality the first time!
NOTE: As a courtesy, when you purchase a hose and hose sock from ThinkVacuums.com we will install it on your hose free of charge. If you order the hose sock separately the helpful video below will guide you through how easy it is to put on.
