Wet/Dry central vacuum systems perform both wet and dry pickup. If you are looking for a versatile wet/dry system that will last, consider either the Drainvac Cyclonik or Automatik series. Make a selection below or compare all wet/dry central vacuums.
Drainvac Cyclonik series are made for both wet and dry pickup. Unlike the Automatik series, Cyclonik wet/dry systems need to be dumped out after the dirt/water canister reaches capacity. The DV1R10, DV1R11, and DV1R15 each have a rustproof polyethylene interior & require no bag or filter.
Drainvac Automatik series are self-flushing vacuum systems. Automatik Wet/Dry central vacuum systems by Drainvac are designed for both Residential Applications (DV1A150 & DV2A310) and Commercial Applications (DV1A150, DV2A310, DV2A310, DV2A310 & DV2A310).
Wet/Dry Power Units - Revolutionary New Total Floor Care Systems
The Drainvac Automatik central vacuum cleaners are purposed to vacuum both liquids and solids. The tank or canister never has to be emptied manually. These systems are directly connected to the building's drainpipe where the wastewater is automatically evacuated.
After vacuuming with a self-flushing unit, either wet or dry substances, the Automatik series automatically drains into the existing piping hooked up to the building. Either DV1A150 or DV2A310 is great for cleaning carpets, removing water, car interiors, upholstery and more.
Recommended Installation Location for Wet/Dry – Your wet/dry vacuum should be installed at the lowest level of the building. Solids such as dust will fall easier then they will rise. The basement is the prime location. If you don't have a basement, then the garage or utility room works great.
If you have enough space when installing your Automatik wet/dry central vacuum, it is recommended to include the optional lower tank. It helps to remove oversized debris or the accumulation of paper, hair, and other large material. The optional lower tank is truely a must have for commercial applications!
