Commercial Vacuum Belts
Belts for Commercial Vacuums are necessary for the best performance of your machine and from time to time, you may need to change them. If your belt is too loose, the brush roll will turn slowly, if at all. If it is too strong or tight, it causes excessive wear and strain on your motor and bearings that can cause damage and necessary repair. Belts are turned by the drive shaft or motor pulley, and this allows your brush roll to turn and provide the necessary agitation to deep clean your carpet. After a few months the belts may stretch, causing the belt to stop on the drive shaft which causes the slow turns of your brush roll. Your vacuum will still pick up the easily seen surface litter, but the sand and grit at the bottom of your carpet starts to build up, causing excessive carpet wear.
