AirVac Central Vacuum Troubleshooting Guide

 AirVac Central Vacuum Troubleshooting Guide

The AirVac central vacuum has a design that’s appropriate for use in commercial buildings and homes. It operates with a central power unit that contains the motor and bag.

AirVac Central VacuumThe user can move the vacuum head from one room to another and attach it to the central power unit through vacuum inlets positioned throughout the building. The bag in the central power unit of the AirVac does not need frequent change since it is quite large. If you experience problems with your AirVac central vacuum system, you could troubleshoot it yourself.

  1. Confirm that the power cord of the vacuum’s power unit is firmly attached to a power outlet, or else the entire vacuum won’t work. If the circuit breaker or fuse needs replacing or restoration, do it.
  2. If the unit was recently restored and not functioning, push the ‘reset’ button on the power unit if you recently restored power to it.
  3. If you have changed the dirt bag, but the unit doesn’t start as expected, push down the reset button on the power unit and hold for about seven seconds.
  4. Take a look at the base of the power unit to confirm that its plug is connected if you notice low suction or power. Check to make sure all the wall valves are closed since when the gaskets aren’t sealed, power is lost.
  5. If you notice low suction or incorrect operation of the system, empty the dirt bag. Check for possible clogging of the hose and the lines between the vacuum head and the power unit. Clean it out if necessary.
