Button-lock central vacuum wands are designed to allow the handle of the hose or vacuum accessory to lock into place via a hole at the upper portion of the wand or a button at the lower portion for floor tools. Button-lock wands are usually 1 ¼” in diameter to fit a majority of central vacuums, made of durable metal with a chrome finish and some are extendable between various lengths, allowing you to vacuum twice as fast and effective.
