What belt does the Sanitaire S670 use?
The Sanitaire 30563B premium round drive belt is listed for the S670. A worn or broken belt can affect brush roller rotation and carpet cleaning performance.
Can I replace the motor on a Sanitaire S670?
Yes. The Sanitaire 54352-3 motor assembly is listed for the S670. Related service parts include the 12988 motor fan and 37012-2 pulley. Motor electrical repairs should be handled by a qualified technician.
Is the Sanitaire S670 discontinued?
Yes. The Sanitaire Pro S670 upright vacuum is discontinued. However, compatible vacuum bags, belts, motor components, outer cloth bags, and other service parts remain available through ThinkVacuums.
Why is my Sanitaire S670 losing suction?
A full disposable vacuum bag, clogged airflow passage, damaged fan, or worn internal component may reduce cleaning performance. Check the bag and airflow path first, with the vacuum unplugged.
What is the difference between the inner and outer bags?
The Type ST disposable bag collects dust and debris during vacuuming, while the 53977-29 outer cloth bag provides the surrounding bag housing. Both are separate components of the S670 dust collection system.
