Dyson V11 Torque Drive

Most people prefer stick vacuums. This is because they are cordless and weigh less than their corded counterparts. They are easy to maneuver around furniture, and a cord will no longer tie you down. The latest Dyson models come with a chip that detects the floor’s type and condition and automatically adjusts the cleaning mode. 

You will no longer vacuum with the uncertainty of how much battery life is remaining, whether there is a blockage, or what condition your filter is in. All this information is visible on the LCD screen, conveniently located at the top of the vacuum. The V11 Torque’s suction power is noticeably greater than the V7 model.

Dyson V8

The V8 offers excellent cleaning at an affordable price. Its price may not work for a person who wants to cut on budget. However, this corded vacuum can convert to a cordless, which cuts the cost of purchasing two vacuums.

It can run for up to forty minutes on a single battery charge, allowing you to clean the house uninterrupted. There are sub-models under the Dyson V8, with each coming with various tools to help you perform specialized tasks. 

Dyson Cyclone V10

If the V11 does not go with your budget, try the Cyclone V10, a step up from the V7 and V8. This vacuum has twice the runtime of the V7 and V8, and its dust can is 40 percent larger. This ensures that you can have a complete vacuuming session without emptying the canister. The Cyclone V10 captures up to 99.97% of allergens and dust particles that are 0.3 microns or larger, a common feature with all Dyson models.

Dyson V7 Trigger Handheld

The V7 Trigger and the V7 cordless’s main difference is that the V7 Trigger does not have a long canister. If you need a handheld vacuum for your upholstery, this model will work for you. The V7 has a Car/ boat version that comes with more specialized attachments.

Dyson Ball Animal 2

This is the most powerful Dyson vacuum, tripling the power of the V7. Corded upright vacuums are the best cleaners, but they cannot convert into handheld vacuums, as is the case with stick vacuums. The outstanding feature of the Ball Animal 2 is the tangle-resistant attachment. It uses brush heads that rotate in the counter direction to remove fur and hair from carpets and other surfaces. 

Dyson Ball Multi Floor Origin Upright

Apart from a combination brush nozzle and a stair tool, this model does not come with fancy attachments, as is the case with other Dyson uprights. Its cleaning power is almost equal to that of the Ball Animal 2. The Origin has more power than a stick vacuum and is less costly than the Dyson Ball Animal.

Dyson V7

The V7 is a powerful vacuum that is not as expensive as the Ball Animal, but the more powerful V8 falls within the same price range. Newer versions have more suction power. This model’s main disadvantage is that its age shows, and its run time is only thirty minutes. 

Dyson models have many sub-models, each with different attachments and tools. The discontinued models also keep making their way to the shelves at great discounts. Dyson vacuums that have been manufactured after the V7 come with upgraded filters.

Every Dyson vacuum model comes with its attachments. The model and sub-model names mostly tell of the accessories and attachments that come with them. For example, the V8 Animal Pro has more tools than the Animal, while the Animal Pro+ has even more.
