Cordless Stick Vacuums
Vacuum cleaners have evolved from the conventional massive, heavy machines to compact, portable, cordless vacuums powered by lithium batteries. Most are designed to handle various flooring types, from hardwood floors to heavy carpets. They come with handy attachments to assist with more tasks around the home.
One of the most popular modern vacuums is from the Dyson brand. Dyson was the first company to launch the stick vacuums in the Cyclone V series. Since then, many other companies have followed the trend and now sell their own brands of cordless vacuums. Some have even gone as far as to clone the Dyson cordless vacuums. Others have tweaked their products a bit, adding some of their own innovative features.
The Best Cordless Vacuums
At ThinkVacuums, we sell a wide range of cordless stick vacuums. Below is a list of the fast-selling ones yet.
-
Dyson V11 Torque Drive
Being one of the latest stick vacuums in the market, the Dyson V11 Torque Drive is also one of the greatest. Even though it is the most expensive on this list, its outstanding performance and efficiency match its price. Users of this vacuum say that it practically wipes bare hardwood floors clear of all dust and debris. It has a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and shows an almost flawless pickup of 100% black rice and 99.6% sand test samples.
Pet owners will also welcome the V11’s ability to remove pet fur. It eliminates dust and hair fibers from low-pile and medium-pile carpets. The only few strands that the V11 misses are those that end up wrapped around the brush roll. Emptying the V11’s dust bag is incredibly easy. All you have to do is push the release knob, which opens the lid, and aim the vacuum into the trash to pour the debris out. You can then close the cover by pulling the tab in the opposite direction.
Upon purchasing the Dyson vacuum, it will come with multiple attachments. They include a crevice tool to vacuum small spaces, a motor-driven upholstery tool, a hard-bristle brush to pull off stubborn dirt and grit from heavy carpets, and a soft dusting brush.

Dyson V8 Absolute
The Dyson V8 hand vacuum has been around for a few years, but it still has strong suction and works like a champion. It is perfect for someone who wants to own a Dyson without paying too much money. When it comes to scrubbing the floors clean, it comes in at a close second to the Dyson V11. It sucks up 98% of debris from hardwood floors and 68.3% on low-pile carpets. On medium-pile carpets, it suctions 52% of the debris.
The V8 is not fazed by pet hair either. It absolutely pulls the hair out of medium-pile and low-pile carpets. However, some of the hair fibers end up wound around the brush roll. The washable filter is really convenient, though.
The Dyson V11 Absolute vacuum cleaner comes with various add-ons, including a crevice tool, dust cleaning gadgets, a motor-driven brush roll, and a soft cleaning brush head. Additionally, this vacuum has a charging port for the battery.

Moosoo M X6
This brand is not exactly popular, but the Moosoo M X6 cordless boasts outstanding performance and a bunch of other good qualities. Compared to other cordless vacuums, it costs considerably less, but it performs exceptionally well. It sweeps up 99% of debris from hardwood floors, 41.3% from low-pile carpets, and 52.2% from medium-pile carpets.
However, this vacuum is not suitable for pet owners since it leaves dander on hardwood floors and strands of pet hair end up wound around the brush roll. If you are operating on a tight budget and do not own a pet, you may consider buying the Moosoo M X6.

Shark Rocket Pet Pro
The Shark Rocket cleans almost as well as the Dyson V11 but surprisingly costs less by hundreds. This cordless, bagless vacuum cleaner removes debris just as effectively as the Dyson V11. However, where the Shark Rocket removes 67.6% of debris from low-pile carpets, the Shark Pro removes 78.4%. Like the V11, the Shark Rocket has no trouble pulling out pet hair and dander from most surfaces. On thicker carpets, it only leaves a few strands of hair.
