The metal universal or standard wall inlet is a non-electric low voltage wall vale. This inlet will work with most straight suction, low voltage and pigtail style hoses. This metal universal inlet allows for a more durable inlet valve for walls, flooring and cabinets. The low voltage central vacuum wiring connects to the universal inlet via two contact screws on the back of the faceplate.
