Preferred over the Tangential and Peripheral bypass motor options for cost-effective reasons, the Flow-Thru motor specific to the "Value Buy" series comes in a 5.7-inch version and responds to the weekly cleaning needs of mid-sized homes up to 6,000 Sq Ft by generating 600 air watts and a water lift of 137 inches.
The efficiency of the filtration system the Cana-Vac CV687 central vacuum cleaner uses is equally high. This unit relies on it microfiltration system that fights allergens of all types down to the smallest sizes using HEPA membrane filters. Therefore, it leaves no room for doubt as far as the protection of homeowners is concerned. The CV687 is a hybrid unit that can be used with or without a disposable dust bag. It is highly recommended to use a disposable dust bag to prolong the life of the vacuum.
