The Premium Low Voltage Crushproof Hose is equipped with a two-position switch conveniently located at the handle of the hose so you can manually turn your central vacuum system on or off via the switch on the handle. These hoses are normally designed with a 360-degree swivel allowing maximum performance, eliminating wrist strain and fatigue.
In addition to it's durable, lightweight, and crush proof features, The Premium Low Voltage Crushproof Hose's large diameter increases the suction, allows better airflow and reduces the chance of blockages and clogs by up to 20%!
A low voltage hose consists of a thin series of low voltage wiring allowing total control of the central vacuum. Once the end of the hose is inserted into the wall inlet a metal band completes the circuit for a low voltage connection.
With an air bleeder valve built into the handle, you can increase suction for maximum cleaning power, or decrease the suction for the most delicate of fabrics. This includes oriental, area and area rugs, curtains, drapes, and upholstery.
