It is positioned as an ideal model for use in hotels and motels and is even UL listed and OSHA approved specifically for such purposes. In a nutshell, it is the lightweight alternative designed particularly for heavy-duty, high-standard cleaning tasks.
Standing at 12 lbs., the SC679 may not be as lightweight as the 10-lb. SC9050, but it does offer an improved, more meticulous clean, as well as some unique features that go a long way in making the unit more convenient to use. While the SC9050 sticks to basic features, the SC679 goes the extra mile.
